Child custody agreements are not always 50-50. “No one should ever go through this type of pain,” she says. “I wake up in the morning, and I say, ‘Lord, let this be the day that I get my children back or the day that someone kills me.’”  Supporters say the child custody system today is an all-or-nothing game and that the people involved can find it too easy to get a judge on their side.
